This policy explains what data Hubcove ("we", "us") collects when you use the Hubcove workspace, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to hubcove.online, my.hubcove.online, and the Hubcove apps.
1. Data we collect
When you create and use a Hubcove account, we collect:
- Account data — name, email address, and workspace membership.
- Content you store — files, folders and messages you upload or create in Hubcove.
- Usage data — sign-ins, device type, approximate location (from IP), and feature usage, used to keep the service reliable and secure.
- Billing data — for paid plans, handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
2. How we use it
- To provide and maintain the workspace (sync, storage, calls).
- To secure accounts and detect abuse or unauthorized access.
- To respond to support requests.
- To send service notices (billing, security, product changes). Marketing email is opt-in and can be turned off anytime.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use file contents to train models or serve ads.
3. Sharing
We share data only with subprocessors needed to run the service (hosting, email delivery, payment processing), each under a data processing agreement, and when required to comply with a valid legal request.
4. Data retention
Content is retained while your account is active. If you delete a file or close your account, it is removed from primary storage immediately and purged from backups within 30 days.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data, and to object to certain processing. You can export your workspace at any time from account settings, or email privacy@hubcove.online for anything that requires manual handling.
6. Cookies
We use a minimal set of cookies: one to keep you signed in, and one to remember basic preferences. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies on hubcove.online.
7. Changes
We'll post material changes to this page and, for signed-in users, notify by email before they take effect.
